    We are currently seeking people who have the gifts for producing quality Contemporary Christian music.  Drummer, lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboardist and a male singer or two would be helpful.   If you like Christian praise music and feel God is calling you to do this please contact us.

Spirit of Joy Prayer Partner Job Description

Pray using the H.A.T. Method.   Begin by Honoring the One who creates, saves and gives us all that we need.  Honor God for who God is.   Ask for specific needs of Spirit of Joy.   Needs will be reflected in emails but especially for Glenn, Jan and others as names are given.  If no specifics are given for your prayer time always pray that the Spirit will open people’s hearts and minds to having Jesus enter their lives. Finally, give Thanksgiving to God for way God has answered prayers for Spirit of Joy and rejoice for all that God has done for you.  You can certainly use this method also in your own prayer life.  Another acronym is Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication (asking).  Use whatever works for you!

You will be assigned an hour sometime during the week.  Prayer coverage will be from 8 am to 8 PM, seven days of the week. You can pray as the Spirit moves you during your assigned hour.  It will give some people the opportunity to pray while at work, driving the car or whenever.  You can pray as little or as long as the Spirit moves you throughout that hour.  For those working, you could set a time every 15 minutes and just lift up prayers to God for a few minutes every quarter of an hour.  Essentially, just pray as much as you feel called to during that hour. 

The power of prayer is the most essential thing we can do to help create, grow and sustain Spirit of Joy.
